Our objective is to satisfy the increasingly sophisticated needs of the general public with products from the tropical world.
Our plantain crisps are prepared from carefully selected ripe and unripe, cleaned, matured, plantain within hours of being harvested, sliced, washed, seasoned, fried and bagged; making them crispy and ready for consumption. Our products are produced daily in our state-of-the-art plant, guaranteeing their freshness.
We can assure you that your first taste of our delicious exotic crisps and fruit crisps will not be the last.
Asiko House of Foods started out its life very differently in 1997, as a Chartered Accountant in London. The change of direction resulted in the production of exotic plantain crisps, followed by a move into other commodity businesses, such as gari, smoked fish and African spices.
Our Nigerian name translates well into all languages and incorporates three words which sum up the company – TIME TO EAT
CEO Stephen Adedipe believes the trend towards more healthy exotic snacks, plantain crisps and African foods will continue. “Consumers are now looking for more healthy options that do not compromise on taste or flavour. Today we are a global company and the market leader in plantain crisps in the United Kingdom. We continue to develop new products to meet current and future trends and plan to extend and strengthen our distribution system to serve all of our customers. For Asiko House of Foods, globalisation means having the ability to service our customers wherever they are in the world.”
